How is it that you can figure out how to do emoticons like that one but can't figure out how to get photos on here?
When you view the photo on photobucket there will be a bunch of urls in the lower right corner. One of them will say above it "IMG code-forums and bulletin boards". Copy that url and paste it here. It should start and end with [IMG].

You click "Reply" ... then scroll down to where it says, "Manage Attachments", and then you select your <100 kb photo off one of your drives, which will come in nice and neatly like a thumbnail, which will allow those of us who have slow computers to see it.

I'll work on it.
A little tech-challenged, obviously.
Thanks.

Ride it like you stole it
Now I do recall that you live in the wild wild unexplored North, so you are restricted to very low bandwidth, in those cases PhotoBucket has a feature you would like. Photobucket will automagically generate the BB code to display a clickable thumbnail of your high res picture so that bandwidth is preserved for the unwashed masses.
Example:
Click on any of the above pictures and you will wait, and wait, and wait then finally a high resolution picture will appear. Others in more civilized nations with newly rebuilt post WW2 communications infrastructure will not wait as long.
I hope you are having a wonderful day

Post the picture as an attachment. Click on the thumbnail to bring up full sized images. Right click on the image and select "copy image address". Edit post and post url into the post.

2. Scroll down and click "Manage Attachments"
3. Browse to find your <100 kb photo (which is still high enough resolution to be quite large and to be seen)
4. Click Upload
5. Wait a moment, then Close Window
When it comes up it will be a little photo, and if a person wants a closer look, a person can click on the thumbnail and a LARGE photo (too large to fit in the screen) will appear ... right away ... within a second or two.
Simple and easy. Also nice and neat.
For example:
