How do I move a thread from one to another forum?

The OP and I would like to move this thread:

Who's ready for the Mt. Diablo Challenge?

From the Northern California section to the Road Bike Forum

(We figure that it has had what exposure it is going to get in the NorCal forum, and there are likely Road Bike forum participants that will be interested and not otherwise see the thread before the ride on Sunday).

How is a thread moved?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

You have the OP PM a moderator to ask them to move it.
