NY Forum
Lots of NY'ers on here, but we don't have a dedicated NY forum? Cali has two, Texas has one, and NY has the 3rd largest population in the country, so.....
How about it?

Thanks, Air. If there was enough NY regional traffic on the Northeast regional forum, we'd consider it.

Thanks Air!

Northeast put "I would've posted in the NY forum" in their posts to show support.

Here's what I wrote there:
The last post on the front page in Northeast is over 2 weeks old when I checked today. I think one of the biggest reasons it's that new is because of the index page I put together - saw a lot of the links I posted there start popping up with more regularity.
When that front page starts bouncing down within a day or two then I think it's time to have a discussion about breaking it up.
Do the threads in Northeast really get to the point that something posted yesterday gets shuffled down to a second page because of all the threads? The last post on the first page right now is from December 16th, and while it's the winter with less traffic that doesn't pick up all that much. Personally I like reading about things happening in Philly and DC too and wouldn't if it was separated out.
What would change if it was its own section? If something happens in DC put 'DC' in the title. Same with NYC, Philly, or any other area. If the entire front page has threads relating to DC because of the traffic that be a stronger reason to split it up than anything else; otherwise we'll probably be left with two fairly dead forums with four or five active threads split between them instead of one slow forum with four or five active threads.

I think having the 'Representin' threads' works pretty well.
