Minutes
Joe, I don't see any usefulness in providing amount of “minutes ago” a certain thread was posted. Maybe it's needed for moderators, but I just can't figure this one out. I also don't understand why do we need to know how many people are viewing each forum. I’m not complaining, I just feel like I'm missing something out. If we don't need it, why not get rid of it, I’m sure the site will run faster too.

Every lane is a bike lane
The "hours/minutes ago" something was posted replaces the time and date it was posted as per the previous layout, or at least appears to. It probably takes some getting used to, but personally I like that aspect of the new set up.

I like it too. This seems like the kind of thing that if you don't like it, maybe you can just ignore it.

It's good for me too. It means I don't have to think about what day it is, or what time it is - especially handy when I travel.
The number of users browsing a forum is interesting for me too - it means you know before you even enter the forum whether there is some possibility that a question will be answered quickly.
From what I understand, bandwidth is no longer a problem. I'm certainly experiencing lightning fast load times with the new server/software combo!

I like the time stamp too- if I'm participating in a thread, I can now see how old the response to my post is or something along those lines.
I would like to see how old the posts and/or thread is in general, though, just like with the old forum. Otherwise, I could just imagine all those old threads coming back from the dead. Brrrrrrrrr.... I'm shuddering!

I have no preference - whether the minutes or exact timestamps to be displayed for the threads.
To my opinion, as I, for example, am from a different time zone, it had better to display a clock (shows the current time of your time zone) on the forum index page so that I can have some ideas which thread has new and latest replies.
