We look at their posting characteristics, in particular with an eye to how well they handle themselves and resolve conflicts, etc. Candidates are proposed by the moderator staff and reviewed at the Admin level. The alternative method, you can contact me to let me know you are interested, and would then be placed under consideration for the next time we add staff.
