Invisible links?

Hey, new member to the site, but I have done a quick search and haven't found anything that I thought related to this issue that I am having.

What it is, is that frequently, when I load a page, all the text links will show in their proper blue colour, and when the page is finished loading, they all turn white. Making it really rather aggravating to either have to hit ctrl+F5 to refresh the page, or hit ctrl+a to select all of the page to be able to read the text links.

This is the only site I've ever had this problem with as well.

Running Firefox 3.0.11 (And I have tried the IE-tab, same problem?, in Windows Vista 64-bit.

I'll try to get a screen capture to demonstrate the problem.

Here's a shot of what I am looking at half the time:

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Hi, the issue is only occurring in Western Canada, apparently, and is an issue apparently with Google Ads preventing page load, and our tech guys are working on it.

I have the same issue (still) intermittently. If it helps, I was on the forum on my BFs Mac laptop and had the same prob. I think I was using FF on his puter. I use Chrome on my PC.

We're forwarding this information as well as Provincial locations to Google so they can ID the server involved. We do appreciate your patience, everyone.

Thanks again for the update!

And besides, why thank us for our patience? It isn't YOUR fault this is happening, and it's out of your hands to fix. I'm just greatly appreciative that you guys have responded so quickly to a new guy's problem, not all admins are quite so awesome

I think Google owns most of this stuff or the board maker and syndicates the ads so basically a job is being done as normal.

You are so right that the staff at Bike Forums is about the best on the planet or we'd be called Western Alberta Massey Nostalgia Blogs.

No offense if they have that already.

Screwed again. I'm pretty much ready to give up. Not posting much recently. What exactly is prob? Does something in Google ads interfere w/ specific coding of forum? I have Google ads on my site and everything is fine.

We're still working on it. It's not google ads interfering with forum software, we know that much. It seems to be limited to isolated outbreaks in Western Canada, though. The issue is definitely on Google's end.
