Reporting Spam
Is this helpful to the mods/administrators? Do you want forum members to report spam? I thought it was encouraged since there's a link at the bottom of each message providing the option to submit a report. But if this is the case, why is there a time limit placed between reports? Either you want the reports or not.
This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between reporting posts. Please try again in 29 seconds.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Yes, there is a flood timer on all posts, whether reporting a post, making a new post, or sending a PM. This is to prevent flooding and also one of our antispam measures, so a bot can't flood us with spam posts. It's also to conserve bandwidth on the servers, since we're one of the largest communities to use vBulletin in existence right now.
Yes, do report spam, as it's very helpfull. When we get a bot spammer or a live spammer that's cross posting, we can remove all their posts in one fell swoop anyway and ban them at the same time. We'll get their posts, no worries. It's not necessary to report more than one of their posts. Just let us know in the post report that they are cross posting, if you want.

Yep, this is the Mother of Forums on this platform For all that goes wrong, just remember that we show everybody else what to do
Just remember, even if Alan G. has swanky goggles I'm not donning a male cheerleader outfit. I will don a raccoon coat and part my hair in the middle and use Wildroot if you you find 3-4x though.
