Browser IE 7 problems

I use both Firebox and IE. Tho 90% IE. I have IE ver. 7.05730.13. In Firefox I have ver. 3.5.3 and no problems on the new BF format but on IE 7 when you're trying to reply to a thread you can login but the message entry box does not load. Like nothing loads at all after your log/pass is entered.

Strange. Before the BF face lift I never had a problem. After the BF face lift the problems started. I'm more a fan of the old BF format as it was IMHO faster for quickly finding threads and not all this XP/Vista shaped GUI look. Here's hoping the site/forum creators will allow a personal option to the USER to use NEW or CLASSIC mode.

OK, we have a bug in the software that is creating an issue with IE6, 7 and some versions of IE 8 as well as AOL. You can get around this issue by using one of the following browsers:

Firefox Download: http://www.mozilla.com/products/down...win&lang=en-US
Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html
Safari 4: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ - Show quoted text -

They are all free for use, and I'm to the point that I'm suggesting them as an expedient to get people able to post. I'm sorry about the inconvenience, and the tech guys are working on the IE issue, but we haven't had a huge amount of luck as of yet.

Stuck with IE6 at work. Oh, well, I have plenty of work to occupy my time.

I think we have the bug fixed. So far so good, at least. We found the issue about 2 hours ago, and the fix seems to have addressed at least most of the IE issues, we hope. I know of at least one user that's using IE 6 and getting good display and posting. Let me know how your IE 6 does, please. I'm reasonably sure you might be a bit happy, though.

IE6 still not working earlier this afternoon (at work). A blank BF page and non-responsive IE.

IE6 does work with the styleid-9 tag, but most visitors will probably just hit http://bikeforums.net (and that still locks up IE6 solid in our corporate environment.)

Love the VB4 look. The early adopter kinks are to be expected.
