Dear InternetBrands

Since you took ownership of this forum, you've gone out of your way to show how incompetent your employees are (did you give a raise to the geniuses that came up with the Ti forum?) and/or how inept a company you run (vB4?).

But hey, those of us who have been around already knew this.

The reason I'm posting this wee missive is to laud you for your amazing feat of rendering the search engine, which was inept on a good day, completely useless.

Well done.

I've always wondered just what is so hard about getting a basic search to work. My favorite is when I go to look at my most recent posts, and it doesn't have anything less than 2 months old.

Why can't they just use a local google search instead of trying to build their own?

Don't forget - they took a very user friendly forum, and turned it into a forum that is sure to keep new members off of it; and, old members on it less frequently..

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Huh? Not hardly, botto. You're account is normal and membership is correct. We did have a server glitch yesterday, and may have had one today, but that's somethiing else entirely and affected a lot more than just you.

Search does work, you just have to be specific and use the right qualifiers and filter words. Otherwise, you get a null result, as I've told you a few times already. Single word searches don't work.

I know that, botto, no worries. I'm not mad at ya. If I was, my response would have been more private, and we'd have hashed things out.
