A few suggestions.

How about making it easier to see who the moderators are? I've hunted all over this site, and only once stumbled across the list of Admins and Super Moderators. There's no easy link to the admin/mod team here when people need to contact them. Also, are there specific mods who are in charge of specific forums, or are all of you in charge of everything? Assigning specific forums for individual mods, or teams of mods, will make the work load easier on all of you.

Have the Mods/Admins post why they're locking a thread as the last post in that thread. It'll cut down on "Why was my thread locked?" threads. It'll also show who locked it, so if there's a moderator who's abusing their powers, the'll be discovered.

Blue star means Supermod or Admin. Also the thread you are probably questioning there was an explanation, the mod who took action on it did say if the behavior as what was displayed carried on that the thread would be closed, the behavior carried on, so it was closed, if it was previously said in the warning if the thread in question would be closed if what ever behavior carried on, then there has to be no reason for closing has to be given since it was already stated in the warning.

Could you repeat that in English? The part about closing threads (I figured out the Blue Star thing).

What I meant was since the reason was posted in the post warning to get back on topic, so if it carried on, a reason does not have to be posted before closing.

So why did the thread in Foo get deleted, gutted, and moved without warning? I've got no problem with it, but it's indicative of the lack of uniformity.

People are getting tired of a "because i'm a mod and that's why" attitude that shows its head occasionally. The original thread was barely off topic, had started back to being on topic (with some discussion of the warning) and was then locked. Is every pie-jacking in SS/FG going to get a warning and a lock or deletion?

As i've said before, if someone felt that the OT posts were offensive and reported it, i've got no problem with the mod action.

I really don't know why that one was moved. But I the warning on the thread in question wasn't headed and therefore it was closed. Since it was closed, the off topic stuff was cleaned out and thread reopened.

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

What I said was I don't know why your thread was moved and that the thread in the ss and fixed forum has had the off topic posts removed and was reopened.
