Politics as option in User Control Panel?

Would it be possible for us to just specify that we agree to that, and keep it permanent? Rebooting or logging on at work require typing 'yes' over again, which is kind of a bummer when you are just surfing new posts. I even just had to type it again for the second time I logged on because the thread I was replying to was being moved there at the time. When I tried to log in that time, it gave me an invalid thread error, and I had to go back 3 pages to actually make the reply... Maybe an 'I am OK with vivid political talk' checkbox in the user profile...

I just get tired of having to log in.
