Won't stay logged in on Firefox

I don't really see a good forum to stick this in, so I'll put it here. Does anyone else have problems with Firefox not remembering their user name and password? I have to log in every single time I come to bikeforums.net. I'm usually an IE user, but the newer versions of Firefox I like. I had this same problem under Firefox 5 and now under Firefox 6. I've cleared the cache to no avail. No other web sites give me trouble. Anyone else???

Did you click on remember password when it first popped up or ? And sometimes just click a time or three in the box and a window should drop down with your user name then just tab and itll fill in the password.

Yeah, I click on Remember password, but it ignores that. Are you running Firefox and have no problem?

If you click 'Remember Me' does it forget you?

Oh, are you Apple or PC? I'm on a PC.

i've had intermittent occurrences of failure to maintain my logged in status. i've found that if i completely shutdown firefox i'll lose my login, but if i use the "remember me" on the initial click of the login button and the one also on the login page (yes, i think there are two places) i seem to stay logged in indefinitely. although i will say it seems a little flakey from time to time.

i wouldn't be surprised if you ignored "cookies" you may not be able to stay logged in. in other words don't toss you cookies???

PC all the way and no once its click it remembers you though it might forget if you close ff and definitely forget you if you clean history/cookies/etc.

This is pretty much the same behavior I see on other sites. It will only work if I put my login name. Once I give that (might bring up a list to choose from), FF fills in the password.

If you tick 'Remember Me' when you log in then it keeps you logged in by storing a cookie on your computer. If however your browser settings are such that it does not keep cookies, then your session will expire when you reach a specified time limit with no activity or you close your browser. Check that your browser is able to store cookies.

Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Remember History (from drop down menu)

I stay logged into every other web site I go to except this one. I just wanted to make sure it was just me before I started digging deeper. Sounds like it is

Not only does this forum not remember my user name and password, it boots me off after a short time and I have to continually log back in. It is pretty irritating.
