Android App
Really? I'm a little disappointed for my expensive (as far as apps go) purchase. No user control panel (so no subscribed threads). No date/time of last post on a thread. Can't see at a glance if something is unread. Poor effort. Especially considering there's nothing wrong with tapatalk, I already paid for it, and it works.

We aren't going to install Tapatalk. I've covered why in several threads. This is only the initial release of our apps, and they'll be improved further, I'm sure.

So you're charging $2 for what's essentially a beta?
Cool. Honestly, the most annoying part of it might be something that's also annoying about the actual website. As soon as you get to the site and are logged in, it assumes you've had a chance to read every single thread you're subscribed to. If you don't read them, after a little while, they stop showing up in your subscriptions. So despite the fact that I can't actual view which threads I'm subscribed to and have new posts in the application, it assumes that I've read every single one, so when I come home and get on the real website, my subscriptions are all screwed up.

Update made it better, but still sucks. Still no subscription list. The "go to unread" doesn't actually work. No way to click a thread and auto go to unread posts.
I still use it some, but it should be much, much better for the cost.

I have hesitated to purchase the app because the app doesn't seem to get much attention from development. I have also considered an elite membership, and think the app would be a great perk despite its shortcomings.

Try this:
On your Android or iPhone:
- Go to your browser, and open BF.
-Go to the bottom-left-hand corner of any page.
-Click the dropdown and select "Default Mobile Style".
-Make a shortcut and copy that onto your phone's main menu.
Now - when you want to use BF on your phone - use that shortcut instead of the mobile app. It doesn't have all of the features of the main system, but it's pretty damned good. And - you can learn the features by setting that format on your PC, experimenting with it, then reverting your PC to the standard format.
(Disclaimer: I'm not a mod or an admin, but I'm an admin on another vB site - which has nothing to do with cycling ... https://www.progressiveears.org)

Thanks, and yes, we offer a free mobile, lightweight version. I use it myself on my Android.

I have it, and it's doesn't work well with my version of the Android OS. The Moobile View works better,,,,my phone is a couple years out of date.

As always, it is so heartwarming to see how truly responsive Bike Forums are to the users who are relied upon to get scammed with all the advertising.

Yeah, this is still a joke. Pretty sad when even the guy who runs the site doesn't use the app. And it's not your version of Android, it's the app. I have Jellybean and it sucks. I had ICS and it sucked. I had Gingerbread and it sucked. It's the app.
Why do you have an app exactly? If you're going to put out a crap app and then not update it, at least make it free, or make a trial version or something. Was it really worth the $150 you made?
