new user, cant post anything in a for sale thread?

how long does it take before i can post an item for sale? ive tried all the threads and i post anything.

You need to pay for a premiere membership to start a thread selling something in one of those areas.

I think every Marketplace has a sticky explaining the rules- which include the requisite upgraded membership (and how to get it). If not in the sticky, then in the forum description:
