The only comment/suggestion I have pertains to communication. There doesn't seem to be any communication between the mod & 'offender' when action is taken. For example, when moving a thread to the proper forum, the thread originator isn't notified. I don't know if members are notified when their threads &/or posts are deleted, but they should be. The same thing with locking threads, the mod who locks it should post why they're locking it as the last post in the thread. I make these suggestions from experience: I'm a Senior Moderator on another board. We're required to notify the members whenever we take action so as to help them not make the same mistakes in the future. Most of the time it works. Sometimes there's a dip$#!+ who just doesn't get it. Yeah, not all mods are good, and the best ones are nearly invisible. I have noticed that, lately, mod activity here has been good, in my opinion.
