HI. I would like to ride the Katy Trail sometime. But, what sort of surface would I be riding on? I ride a Catrike recumbent trike with Schwalbe Marathon tires. They are pretty skinny and off of pavement I can feel every little bump as I have no suspension. Has anyone else ridden the trail on...

Toughest I've done so far: Golden Gate Canyon Cottonwood Pass from BV Evans from Echo Lake I'm hoping to do Grand Mesa's north side and maybe Trail Ridge Road soon. Slumgullion Pass out of Lake City looks pretty steep. I may also try Magnolia Road. Any others?

I biked up Golden Gate Canyon this weekend. Anybody have a fairly accurate elevation gain amount for this route? Uploading my GPS track to various services like Endomondo and Garmin Connect say 6000-6500', which seems high. GPS Visualizer says 8500' -- WTF!
