wasn't , in my case , 0.2mm , just 0.1 mm of wall thickness , that happens to be adding up to 0.2mm of inside diameter

I did this by hand my self, Cutting oil and adjusted reamer many times to shave out a iny amount with each pass

and had the exact seat post I was to use in hand so It fit as perfectly as Possible..

a Clean up and rounding out distortions from the brazing process help the seat post stay up with little bolt compression.

and one would hope no scratching of the seat post. a benefit of a tool without nicks in the blades ..

This brings up another pet peeve as well. I am continually amazed at the work that goes/went into good, bad and otherwise frames custom or not, and still many of them did and still do mangle any seatpost that comes near them for being poorly finished at the top of the seatube and clamp. I cant imagine doing all that work and not properly closing the deal, yet you see it all the time. Nevermind the butchery that goes on after the fact. Even if a tube was not properly reamed, it is not that hard to carefully hone, clean and chamfer so that a nice seatpost stays that way as it should without being scarred for life.
