Gardin??

Has anyone heard of a Gardin frame?? I believe he was a builder out of Canada.

Yep, Joe Gardin had a shop/business in Mississauga, ON. He did customs and frame repair. I believe he was also a wholesaler for some products including Mavic.

IIRC things came apart about 10 or more years ago when Gardin reps sold "Mavic" branded rims to shops in sw Ontario. Thing is, the decals were wrong; close but wrong. And the rims were wrong; close, but wrong too. So the "mavic" rims they were selling were really technically inferior knockoffs, but at Mavic prices. Mavic sued, Gardin Cycles went down.
