I need some help with oxy/acetylene torches. I visited my local not-so-friendly welding supplier, and came away with a Murex Saffire catalogue. The torch I thought looked most appropriate (for a beginner and for brazing) was the Saffire DH3: https://www.murexwelding.co.uk/mrxcont/gas/mrxwcsd.htm. This would run me around £200 with regs, arresters, hoses etc. They also offer a kit with everything you need except gas, but it comes with a DH5 torch instead (only minor cosmetic differences as far as I can tell). Does anyone know which of these torches is better for bike building (and how they are different), or any other torches I should look at? Any online suplliers (preferably in the UK with a decent website?
