bought bike bad fit, now new custom
Greetings,
Bought my first new bike in 25 years and after 250 miles and two stem changes changed LBS to one who did a great job fitting me. I put 300 miles on his IF loaner-demo and will buy a Serotta Fierte (steel) as the geometry works for my 56 year old, short torso, long legged body. Typical rides are 30-40 miles, 16-18 mph and getting longer and faster. By mid summer I'll do a few centuries.
Now, wise bikologists: Campy or Shimano groupo. strip the "old" new or buy all new?
My previous bikes are '82 Raleigh Pro and '70 Lygie (Bilenky rebuilt with SS couplings).

If it aint broke dont fix it. keep whats working already. whats on there currently? once it does break (maybe never) then you can spend the money..

Thanks, The new bike that doesn't fit has Dura Ace derailleurs, Truvativ rouleur carbon cranks, Ksyzium elite wheels, Fi'zik Arione saddle, FSA bar and Ritchey Axis stem. All work well, just misfit frame.
From an "ain't broke" view it is cheaper to transfer parts than buy new group.
