Custom geometry Gunnar frames

Has anyone had any experience with having a custom geometry Gunnar frame made?

I am thinking of getting a custom Gunnar Sport done for me. I am now riding a 42cm Surly Pacer that I like the fit on very much and I'd like to move on to a higher quality steel frame. I haven't found any other stock frames with the same geometry in 42cm. Most small frames are too long for me, I'm already in an 80mm stem on the Pacer and don't want a shorter stem.

The price seems reasonable, $300 over the usual frame price.

I have a 58cm Road Sport and am very pleased with it. Not custom though. I'll be riding it for many years to come. I recommend heartily.

gunnars are made out of the waterford factory in wisconsin. while i have never seen or ridden one, i know the guys at gunnar provide fantastic customer service and know a lot about fit. i recently had a question about which size frame would fit me best and within 24 hours they emailed me schematics with full measurements that addressed my particular sizes. i have not gotten this kind of service from anyone else. you will NOT go wrong with a gunnar.
