That's cheating!
There was a thread with some links about these ends on frameforum a couple months ago, but really, faux dropout slots are like clip-on ties, hubcap spinners, etc- you'd be happier if you had the real thing and you did them yourself!

Haha, maybe it is cheating, but after looking at the end of a chain or seat stay tube... then the tabs on a dropout.... then the ends of a seat or chain stay tube ... then the tabs again.... then the nice perfectly sculpted joint you talented builders make at that particular intersection. The lugs are looking pretty good to me, matches the front d/o's and all the other joints that will be on the frame soooo i thought "how nice".
What ends do you prefer? I really like the idea of making my own...

hahaha, spinners.. tell that to Nagasawa... i wanna be there when you do it though...haha

ummm, maybe I'll just write him a letter.
just kidding, for someone who is working on a small production scale, those drops make sense as a way to save time, but, we are talking about you building your own frame- it's not an excercise in efficiency, that's for sure!
make your own or you can get a pair of the Columbus drops from nova, they are designed to be shaped and have quite a bit of extra metal. For drops that are nice out of the box and would serve as a good base for making a real version of the nagasawa faux slots, go for the Paragons- they are the best!
I can't get the image to post here, but you can see the shaped columbus drops (the green fixed gear) as well a a couple of the paragons on my blog https://www.livewirebikes.blogspot.com
