bent my HJames rder hanger, can I bend it back?
Was cx'ing tonight, hit a flag, wrapped up the r-der into the spokes, crunch, bent der hanger and dropout.
Is it advisable to bend it back, or do I pack 'er up and send for repair? A buddy has a Campy toolset with alignment tools. I'm just worried about the structural integrity of the Henry James dropout.

There should be no problem bending it back. I've done that several times with no problems. It's 304 stainless steel and it's pretty ductile. If you need any help let me know.

this happened at the Dallas Tues CX last night, and first thing Boyd said "I bet Cheakas can fix that!"
you saw this bike at White Rock a while back. of course, it was a bit cleaner then:

Success.
Bent it back. It's nice to know guys with tools and steel frame expertise. The Rder hanger hole is ovalized noticeably, but it shifts fine so we're riding tomorrow. On a borrowed -rder, since the hanger tab on mine was broken.
Thank goodnoess Campy parts are rebuildable. A $6 part instead of a new r-der? Yeah I'll take that deal.
And steel.... "bend it back" instead of "oops new frame time" yeah I'll take that deal too.
