where can I get decals for my build

I am working on building myself a frame, and I thought it would be cool to design a down tube decal and put it on the frame after I have it painted.

Does anyone know who can make good decals, maybe just 1 color that I can put on my frame?

If all you want is single color, go to a commercial signwriter and they can cut vinyl for you (same as what they use for cars and trucks or just signboards).

They can probably sort out a nice typeface for you of what name you want. They'll show you how to apply it aswell if you haven't done it before.

One of the BF members, JRrestore, is a professional decal maker who has reasonable rates.

You might try sending him a PM with your ideas of what you're looking for.

Thanks guys, I went to a sign store and they will make me some vinyl decals for dirt cheap.

What about lug outlines? After I have my frame powdercoated, what is something good to outline my lugs with? Paint pen then clear coat? Any ideas?

Why not get this done with signwriter vinyl as well? Modern computer driven plotter-cutters are so precise nowadays, they can easily cut fine lines and even text characters as small as 12pt. Your signwriter probably already has clip-art files of decorative scrolls and stuff so you don't need to pay for expensive custom design work.

Don't forget, self-adhesive vinyls are also available in mylar metal foils (gold or silver)... I'm not talking about metal flake finish, but foil finish so it looks like chrome or polished gold...
