Aluminum Specification Question
I'm looking at the possibility of having a custom quill stem adapter made similar to this.
High Rider
Which grade of aluminum would be appropriate for this use? Searching the web, I can find round 2024 and 6061 readily available in the appropriate size.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ken

I would go with the 6061, simply because it is an industrial grade and will probably be cheaper... plus if it ever comes up it's a weldable alloy.
