broken binchi pista frame
i bought a used bianchi pista with mostly stock parts but a cracked frame for 200 dollars.
the downtube, has a transverse crack that runs about 2/3 of the circumference that came to be from vandalism. i have no intentions of making this a track bike, i am a messenger and just want a reliable weld repair. is this possible to fix? what am i looking at for cost?

My buddy's pista cracked at the seattube and carried down to the rear seatstay.
It's creakin bad and ready to give, so we just laid a very fine bead over it with the tig welder. Help up just fine and still riding well.
