silver carbon frame

i always have random thoughts about cycling. so i did a search but came out empty, so here i am asking another question.

Ive seen mostly bicycles using black carbon fiber material, why not use silver carbon fiber?

Because "Silver Carbon" (Texalium) is fibreglass. It has aluminium oxide added to give the visual effect but it has the same performance as fibreglass except it's heavier.

To quote one supplier - "8.6 Oz texalium has the same properties as 6 Oz fibreglass"
