"closed wire guides"

if a fork is described as having "closed wire guides" would this mean cable stop-esque braze-ons along the inside of the fork leg for a dyno hub? I imagine the guides would look like cable stops, no? Or would it be something different?

thanks

probably means it has a tube in there. No point to having loops, you could never hit all of them with the wire. There have been a few builders over the years that tried to get away with using something other than a tube to guide brake cables. AFAIK, these techniques have a high failure rate. In addition to failures, you probably would get annoying noises.

You gotta link to this verbiage?
