Framebuilder in Arizona.

Hey guys, im just trying to get some info on a father/son group of frame builders in Arizona. I was wondering if any one has heard of them and what the good and bad you have heard?

I was offered a job in AZ and am thinking about taking it. Possibly trying to get an apprenticeship with them if they sound like a good place to learn from.

The company is Cooper Works and they are located in Chandler, AZ.

Looking at their Flickr, they have some good looking bikes.

I would appreciate any and all info about this company. Help a fello BF member...

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Well, it looks like they have a pretty good setup and they are building frames, so what's to know? If you've never built a frame AND they are willing to have you hanging around, it seems like you could learn quite a bit. I'd make a personal contact and go from there.
If you want a more established/structered learning experience, take a class from Dave Bohm in Tuscon.

Thanks for the reply.

Im really searching for someone with personal experience with him and/or his bikes.

I will look into the class Dave offers. I am still a little uneducated in this area of bicycles. I just want to learn so again, thanks for the input.

if it's the same company as the link I found when you first posted this, they've been building since 2009. David is a better choice

Do you have that link? I dont think there is a possible apprenticeship with Dave, only the class. I will take that as well. I just might have the option the apprentice with Cooper Works.

Anything to learn more about this is good right?
