NOS Columbus SL sought

Hi All,

Looking for NOS Columbus SL top and down tube for repair to a 1973 Colnago that's been in a collision. Does anybody have some they'd be willing to part with or know of a source? I know there's an updated version SL Nobium, I'd prefer to use NOS if I can find it. If there's none out there I'll use the modern stuff.

Thanks.

Regards

Harry

In a while I am buying a stack of this stuff, and possibly switching out the top tubes because they are 1". Is that the size you are looking for, and what butt length? That said it probably wouldn't be worth the out of country cost, as far as I know it isn't any different than 4130 butted tubing that you can get from Nova. Anyone know?

Top tube 25.4mm and down tube 28.6mm, not sure on butt length, need to do more research. Overall length of 600mm for top tube and 635 for down tube should be adequate to allow trimming to actual size. Are you buying NOS Columbus SL? I know there are substitutes I could use, I'm in UK so Reynolds is an obvious choice, however this is an Italian frame which will have a period Columbus tubing decal when finished, repair has to be with Columbus tubing.

Had very little response so decided to go for the re-issued SL Nobium tubing, ordered and should have been here today, weathers been dreadful so maybe Monday. Thanks for reply and offer anyway.
