Bikes: 86' schwinn sprint updated and converted to touring, Trek 3 series, trek 1.2, and as soon as the disk LHT comes out it will be added

frame sizes
my son rides a 18" wall mart bike and is wanting and needing a bigger bike and were looking for a mountain bike so he can get into some shifting what size cm frame would a 20" be comparable to? he is about 51" tall
