Titanium Forks

Why is it that everytime I find a company that sells TI bikes (Litespeed etc), they use a carbon fork? What is wrong with a Ti fork?

Too stiff? Can't be stiff than C-Dales old Criterium and early CAAD models ( I realize they don't do that anymore for a reason).

Is there some specific reason?

Maybe because is easier to blame the carbon fork guy if it fails?

I've seen a quite a few Ti forks. Quite a few custom Ti frame builder do matching frame/fork combos. I've seen it more on MTB applications so I don't think it's an issue of not being strong enough. I just think most larger companies don't touch it cause of the price compared to a carbon fork and the just the amount of people actually wanting a Ti fork.
