Looking for input... again.
The plan as it stands currently revolves around 1/2" OD carbon tubing for most of the frame other than the down tube and seat tube itself... which will be done with bamboo for a less stiff ride. The steering tube, bottom bracket, rear drop outs, and a short seat tube at the top of the bamboo will all be aluminum most likely scavenged off a junker bike. The idea is to wrap all the joints in a good layering of carbon fiber cloth with epoxy. The bamboo is going to be heat tempered, dry aged and have a foam core. The geometry still hasn't been decided, since I want to find a new frame to steal the angles and measurements from.
This is the basic concept outline minus joint wrapping/geometry. If anyone has additional ideas for this design or problems that need to be addressed that they see etc... please tell me! Thanks in advance.
