Looking for input... again.

The plan as it stands currently revolves around 1/2" OD carbon tubing for most of the frame other than the down tube and seat tube itself... which will be done with bamboo for a less stiff ride. The steering tube, bottom bracket, rear drop outs, and a short seat tube at the top of the bamboo will all be aluminum most likely scavenged off a junker bike. The idea is to wrap all the joints in a good layering of carbon fiber cloth with epoxy. The bamboo is going to be heat tempered, dry aged and have a foam core. The geometry still hasn't been decided, since I want to find a new frame to steal the angles and measurements from. This is the basic concept outline minus joint wrapping/geometry. If anyone has additional ideas for this design or problems that need to be addressed that they see etc... please tell me! Thanks in advance.

Saw this while making the flickr rounds this morning http://www.flickr.com/photos/64037791@N03/5923856385/ and it made me think of your post. It's kinda sorta similar to what you're talking about.

wow oh wow! that's freaking gorgeous and way beyond what I'd be willing to attempt right now.. I love the curvature of that frame though!
