Well it turns out that I came into a bit of cash and I just got done ordering a new Henry James Universal frame Jig. Part of the neat things about this bit of hardware is that it can be set up to clamp onto a Park repair stand. The next question is it worth it to buy that stand so I can rotate it and get to all of those spots in the frame?
I currently am using a portable stand that is set up for races and I don't think it can hold up to that much weight.(although it did handle a Towney and did not fall apart.)

Mike- My Hj Uni is mounted to a Park PRS-2 (that's a few decades old). It can twist and flip in any direction needed. However the jig is not well balanced and in some positions will creep down if the stand jaw is not REALLY tight. The stand is challenged with the mass of the jig and if the base plate is the rectangular version, it's close to tipping when the jig is over the short side of the base.
Did you get the newest version of the tube supports? i have talked with hank about upgrading mine to them. Andy.
