    EMERGENCY Frame Repair!

I have a Giant Lite LA Free Electric Bicycle.

So where my down tube meets the bottom bracket (well what's actually the top of my engine), has snapped. Not cracked. SNAPPED. OFF. Right now I'm just dealing with getting all the plastic guards off the engine/frame, and taking the crank arm off. Afterwards, I have JB Weld epoxy putty. I don't know what the best way to use it is, or if it's the best thing to use at all. Any tips?

Also, when I actually get it permanently welded, will I have to take the whole engine off? I need help!!

It's time to retire the frame, not get it repaired.
    Sorry about that.
JB Weld is also not a safe way to repair your frame.

I moved this to Framebuilders. I think you are going to get better frame repair advice here.

Yeah, if this is a montube connection a single non-triangulated spar? That is a high load spot, JB weld is not a bad way to repair this, it is an impossible, not 5% of what you need way. There is always that what would they do in Vietnam type repair, but other than that, your frame may be toast.
