Hi I have have these Schwinn tools that i think hold on to the frame. I've seen them in my Schwinn Factory Dealer Service Repair Manual Volumes 1 and 2 that I just got.
Can you tell me what they are called and what they exactly are used for? http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=402210 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=402211 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=402212 here's the manuals that they were in http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=402213 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=402214 thanks for your help. Those are repair stand clamps. They mount to a solid base and clamp onto a frame or better, onto the seatpost. Park sells similar ones for a lot of money.

Thanks guy's. I wasn't going to use them for myself. Along with the books, an old Schwinn angle finder and these clamps and a few other things I'm putting them up on ebay. I just didn't know what the clamps were or exactly used for so I didn't know how to list them.
After redin this forum I had a good idea you guys would know what they were. |
one more thing what would you suggest I should put them up on ebay for? thanks

As busdriver says, those are adjustable frame clamps for the Schwinn repair stands. Be careful when using them; if they're adjusted too tight they can dent thin walled frame tubes quite easily.

Thanks, I'll try and get 100 plus shipping for the pair. These clamps look to be made pretty strong.

You could probably get more if you sold them individually.
