Nearly I want to buy a riding pants. About sitting where I know there are two kinds of silica gel and cotton . I want to know which is better ? Need you help , thanks !

Back to the thread. I assume that you ride a DF bike, so you probably need some kind of shorts to protect you from your saddle. Dont over look getting a good quality saddle.

Generally speaking cotton is bad. I honestly don't understand your question, since normally pants would not be made of silica gel, and I don't know why cotton would ever be used as padding. However, cotton absorbs moisture in all the wrong ways, so it's not a preferable material for just about anything when it comes to biking. I'm not saying everyone should be wearing a spandex onepiece, at all, but virtually all options available, especially those designed for this or other physical activity related purposes, are going to perform better at ensuring you are comfortable while riding. So between cotton and choice B, generally go for choice B.
