Restore or Buy new ?, Need some serious help here. Thank you for your time.

Hey Old Bikers, I´m back.

I explain my situation:
I bought long ago an used road bike, after a 90Km/h descent, my right lever just broke, (old Ultegra ones) the brakes were fine for stopping me, but the rear derailleur wasn't shifting up or down, I think the internal cogs went bad. Doesn't matter, I decide is time for restoring my old bike. I was thinking of buying the complete Tiagra set, and send my frame to a Pro to powder spray. I couldn't afford a Shimano 105. and I stil dont know if it would be better to just keep some old pieces, I managed to win a good eBay offer, and already bought the Sti shifters for the Tiagra series.
During the dismounting of the BB and the pedals, I just noticed I didn't had the right tools, I went to a local bike shop and he kindly did it for me, the Bike shop guy, just layed my aluminium frame on the ground, stepped on it and trolled the pedals out , there is some deep cut scratches on the rear of my frame, I noticed just today wen I was cleaning and removing the last screws, for sending to the Powder coating shop. I dont know if it actually could lead to a failure of my frame once I would be doing 80 km/h. but boy it does look ugly.
The old Components I could maybe use and mix ? :/ + Some frame pictures

Scratches on the Frame.

After analyzing my situation it came to me, maybe I should give up on this bike and everything. I found from the same manufacturer who build my frame, a frame with good price. (ROSE XEON RS Rahmenset 2013), I could for example buy the rest of the Tiagra set and build from scratch, or if you guys think I could still mix up some components and save some money.

Or third way I could just really just give up and buy a new bike under 1000 euro. (Rose pro SL-2000 Bike now). But I think the frame is worst than the above...

Or any other brand or better bike under 1000euro. I would than sell my tiagra on ebay with a higher price, and be in debt with a bank

Im sorry for my Bad english, is really not my mother language, Billions of thanks if you didnt fell asleep during my question

Edit: I found as well the Planet X full carbon frame, maybe it is a better alternative. still from Planet X some apparently good frames full carbon, still not sure about it Viner Salviati Carbon Road Frameset

To Conclude:

1 option: Restore Powder coat (150euro) and buy rest Tiagra components (150) Around 300 Euros.
2 option: If frame is just to bad, or not worth keepin, buy one new frame and equip it with Tiagra or maybe 105. around 500 Euros
3 option: Buy a bike unde 1000 euros with 105 or Sram rival or maybe athena.

Gruess Gott aus USA! I would ask your mechanic if the frame is beyond repair. If the scratches are just ugly and not dangerous, they can be made to disappear with epoxy filler and then painted. In the photo, it appears thet the tube may be slightly deformed (dented) on one side. If a reliable repair service says it can be safely straightened, the repair may still be cheaper than your other alternatives. I like to fix things rather than throw them away, but safety comes first!

Grüss Gott habilis, Vielen dank. I will see than for painting and repairing . I will maybe in the end just replace this frame and use it on my "cheap" road bike, I am thinking of buying this British frame ---> Planet X Pro carbon Frame set Its really cheap for the price, and o boy I read good reviews about it, I complete the tiagra set and done, for less than 600 I have a new bike.

Usually, you can get a complete bike for the price of buying a group. The manufacturer gets such a large volume discount on the parts that it pays for the frame. So my advice would be to buy new rather than have your frame powder-coated and replacing the entire drive train.

Only if you're dumb enough to pay US retail prices.

Ribble has 10 speed Tiagra (complete, not with off-brand cranks and brakes) for $273 as a double and $285 as a triple. 11 speed 105 is $371. Europeans pay VAT although it's still far short of complete bike prices.

Personally I just rebuild or replace things as they wear out.

I´m almost decided, I will buy a new frame, Probably this one ----> https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FRPXPC...-road-frameset and will finish purchasing my Tiagra pieces, the old components are just to used to be enjoyable or usable.

Edit: or if you guys have any better frame or say dont go Tiagra sell the STI and go sram or campi or anything don´t know im really open.

Thanks

Since you are used to Shimano shifting, I think Tiagra would be fine.
