I think you need to put the credit card down and step away from the computer.

Calmly now, and nobody gets hurt

Like the bar ends. Been looking to buy them for my hybrid, just to add some hand positions. Walking into the bike shop is easy. Walking out without dumping my wallet is another thing. I think it would be best if I ordered them on-line. Either that or I'll have to put blinders on like a race horse.

I just ordered a pair of the Intense grips and also a pair of the Answer gloves jenson has for 13 bucks.

I'll let you know how the grips do when I get em.. should be this week.

I also plan to get a new helmet, for a few reasons. One, the one I have isn't all that comfortable. Two, it makes my head sweat more than I think it should. Three, looks kinda crappy on me. Four, its a spare for someone else to wear on rides.

i agree an atmos is pure indulgence. next year it'll be outdated by the cosmos or helios or poopos or whatever they call the next great .25 ounce lighter lid.

  1. Good solid chain
  2. Waiting to hear reports before I buy it. Then again like front derailieurs are that expensive?
  3. Ugh bar ends? Don't you run a riser bar?
  4. Personally I like the "Rogue" pattern, but lock on grips do rule.
  5. No opinion except that you have two number 4's for some oddball reason

I've been using the chain for six months. So far, so good.

Giro Atmos (edit: woops, typo) is pointless.

Except as a status symbol.

I want full Ultegra upgrade. I will have to do it piece by piece as I can afford. 105 face plate is coming off (currently held on by electrical tape). Good excuse to upgrade shifters now. If I go witth 10 speeds, I can later upgrade deraileurs, chain and cassette to 10.

I love threads like this. They really help me to scheme my upgrades. Time to save my pennies.

I already used up my credit cards...now I'm going paycheck to paycheck HAHAHAHAHA. Anyways....about the helmet, I'd be satisfied with one that's cheaper as long as it flows as well my specialized doesn't have near the airflow that thing has...recommendations?
