Who makes longer length cut shorts?

I just got some cheap shorts from Nashbar... the "monday" shorts and these things are cut way short. I suppose this is why they are so cheap.

I like a longer short. Buying by internet, there is no way to tell until you get the darn things... so you folks out there... are there any shorts that are cut longer... any suggestions for sites so you can really tell? Or brand names you really like.

I've just gotten some Etxe bibs from www.bicyclinghub.com and these
are a bit longer in the leg than my other shorts, almost knee length.
I like the Etxe chamois (like REAL chamois in feel) better than
most of the newer stuff. If you don't see what you want/like
on the web site give Doug a call, he is a really nice guy
and has some decent deals.

The longest leg shorts or bibs I've found are from www.velowear.com. They're longer than I like so I have to roll up or pull the leg up slightly.

If you live in San Diego, you have easy access, distance-wise, to many local bike shops. Just go in and try everything they have. You don't have to buy them. You still get some idea what fits what doesn't. The chances are you'll find a pair that you like at discount price, older model, just to move inventory etc. Buying online for the first pair isn't very good idea.

Edit: Try Performance bike shop, there are a few in San Diego. Their store brand shorts and bibs are very good at very reasonable prices.
