What is your favorite bicycle picture.

My wife only allows one bicycle pic on the mantle..SO I rotate some of my favorite blow ups, in and out....The mantle is pretty busy...Have three candidates for that spot..
Think the favorite is my shot of the Tour De France passing by. In the town of Vitre.....That most frequent tobe found on the mantle.. I have a close head shot of Jan Kiirispu(sp) ?...Wearing yellow the day before Lance ever won yellow for the First time...(Next day..June , 1999)...Kirispu wearing the yellow..Think by the team shorts he is wearing..Was a member of the Casino team..Great shot..Wish it was next day and Lance..
Next photo... My bike and about 25 others seemingly tethered to a hitching post used for tethering horses in old Nevada in front of a saloon somewhere out in the desert. (actually at the town of Middlegate.)
THird photo...My bike proped up on a wall, looking across the Loire and the center of the village of Saumur on the other side.....
what would we have to talk about or photograph if not for our bikes. life would be less colorful..Guess, I need a bike wall for more photos..

Anything by Graham Watson. I have four up in my office and I covet more. Have you seen the "Old Glory"? The guy on the horse riding in front of the peleton with the American flag at last year's TDF? I also love the one of all the cyclists in the streets during Leige. And you can't beat the sunflowers.

I also have three favorites:

2. A Graham Watson poster of the Tour passing fields of yellow and orange flowers. Don't know the year but it's been awhile because everybody is wearing cloth cycling caps.

I bought the one of Lance riding up to the Arch de Triumph..by Watson...that is in our study...I would like to buy the one of the cyclists in the field of Sunflowers..Looks like a great shot..But fear the cyclists are too small and not prominent enough? Is that wrong.? ..Can't have for cyclists in the background.! .Want the bikes and sunflowers both well displayed...Is that the case....
Most of my photos,I refer to are from my own camera...But Watson's stuff could easily decorate my home.IF my wife permited.

Good idea, ask your wife for a whole to display photos salon style. I've have collected dozens of vintage photographs, the world champion 4yr bicycle racer is probably my favorite. On posters this one is my favorite. No bike, but plenty of related lust for the same.

This one, from a couple of years ago on the Bicycle Tour of Colorado, where some of us rode to the top of Mt. Evans (the highest paved road in the US - 14,264 feet!). It was a lucky shot...when I took it, I was so hypoxic that I didn't even realize there were cyclists in the frame!
Or, this one, from a self-supported century I led last year around Mt. Lassen in northern California (it featured a 42 mile climb, with 8000 feet of climbing!).
Or, this one, climbing the Col de Glandon in the French Alps, in the rain.
Give me a decent camera, a good bike, and some big mountains, and I'm in heaven.
