can u help me ID this frame
good day!
I am brand new around here, though I have been following along for some time. I'm planning to visit the bio page imminently to reveal in more detail the depths to which I have recently sunk, but in the meanwhile I'm hoping you will help a stranger out with a few answers......I've got this frame, see.....(pics below)
I picked it up for a song and am planning to turn it into a fixie....what else? But I'm curious as to what brand of frame it is. There are no markings of any kind on it that I can see, except a serial number on the underside of the BB shell (N1B1291). It is chrome plated and light....not aluminum-light, but possibly 531-light. The chrome seems to be in excellent shape and buffs up brilliantly with a bit of scrubbing. The fork may be unrelated....it was found in the same roomfull of bikes, but not actually with the frame. Also in excellent cosmetic shape, though the steerer is bent ever so slightly backwards (disaster?) Would anybody care to suggest what this might be? Italian Princess? Or mere kak. Either way, it should make a very fly fixed wheel! I'm thinking black everything. Hubs, spokes, seat post, cranks, cogs...the lot!
Anyway, thanks in advance for your consideration
And greetings from soggy Montreal.

sorry I have no clue. But thats a cool frame, I don't think I have every seen a full chrome frame.
You should try to get chrome components as well, you would have the shiniest bike ever

I don't know what it is, but it's nice looking. I wish I had one.

that's italian for sure. most italian bikes of the era were fully chromed under paint. the brake bridge will be a telling clue.
send the pics to bill ron at billronbicycles and/or sheldon at harriscyclery i'll bet one of em can tell you what it is.
