Mounting my bike on my Freightliner

I need some ideas, I haul a Tanker so behind the sleeper I have a hose rack, my airlines and pigtail are routed through the rack, my catwalk is fairly large but i have to leave room for trailer movement.
Thanks

I get what you're after, but don't have the solution. I'd post up some pictures to help spark ideas and conversation.

I would say strap it to the grille bus as kids, my best friends father had a trucking company. On one trip together, he strapped his bicycle to the front of the truck. In the middle of the night on the highway, a strap let go and they ran over the bicycle. My friend said he was crying because his bike was destroyed and that at the same time, his father was *****ing about a brand new tie-down breaking.

That was a cool bike, too. Looked like a motorcycle and even had a throttle that made revving noises.

Get in touch with Dan Burkhart, who is a member here. He is an OTR trucker who takes his bike with him all the time (and I think he is now driving a new Freightliner, too.)

A Folding Bike would fit inside better , put in the sleeper when your not in it .

Owner Op?, hanging a bike rack on the front is what people do/did with VW Busses..

if you get a 2" receiver hitch welded up on the front end, a lot of Bike racks will plug into It.

Im a driver also so I have had the where to put the bike fun for a few years. I guess you dont have a top bunk which is the best place to haul a bike. A folder is next best choice and strap to passenger seat. Not many choices for a full size bike tho. Either expensive or a cheap made bike. Check ebay or craigslist for 80s Fuji Marlboro folder for a good deal. Used Dahon Matrix or a few others may be on their too. Other choices taking both tires off regular bike and straping frame to passenger seat or taking pedals and front tire off and hanging off back wall. You dont really want the bike mounted outside in the elements.
