HELP! Steerer tube too short?

Good evening BF community.
I posted this earlier under "Fitting your Bike" Section but haven't yet received an answer..

I bought a beautiful 1999 Schwinn Circuit frame that has a 6 3/4" Head tube.
Now I'm chasing a matching threaded fork [1 inch].
I found a nice one on eBay with a steerer tube of 7 5/8"

Id like to know if the steerer tube is tall enough please.
Your prompt assistance is quite appreciated!

It' simple math, but you'll have to convert to millimeters your self. The dimension you care about is the stack height, which has to equal the difference in length between the steerer and head tube. Among common headsets, 30mm is about the shortest, and 33-35mm is more common. So there's no way you'll make it with a difference of only 1-1/8"

BTW here's a chart of popular short stack 1" headsets.

Hi FB!
Okay they're as follows:

Head tube = 171.5 mm
Steerer Tube = 193.5 mm

so approx. 22mm of threaded tubing sticking out of the fork if I'm not missing something.
Is that enough to fit a headset in your opinion?

Thanks in advance!

As I said, the shortest common headset is 30mm stack, so you're 8mm short. Even though there's a nice selection of 36mm (or less) headsets, I prefer to shoot for about 40mm or 1-5/8" or so and use spacers. You never know when you might want to mount some sort of bracket under the locknut, so it's nice to have some length to play with.

Aww.. I see.
I bought the fork actually. I'm just gonna ask the Seller not to ship and request an order cancellation.
Thank you so much FB! You saved me much hassle
