Performance bike returns?

I can't help but think that with a one year return policy, performance bike must get a lot of returns.
Nashbar has an entire section of their website where you can buy returned items at a considerable discount.
Performance bike has an "outlet store" section, but these are sale items or closeouts, not returned items.
Am I missing something or do they not offer returned items for sale?

Nashbar and Performance are sister companies under the same corporate umbrella. So it's very possible that they use the Nashbar outlet to make a market for returns to Performance. Just as possible is that they opt to unload used and returned products through one of the brick and mortar stores, rather than the net.

Or they could be marketing them on Ebay under another name to prevent any warranty issues arising.
