Strava Heatmap 2014 vs 2015
Here's a link to Stravas Heatmap comparing 2014 vs 2015. I use strava and I can see all my little shortcuts new routes on the new map.

Does anyone know if its possible to use this heatmap and build new routes on top of it? it would be a good way to be sure when going to a new place the route is reasonable without constantly checking google streetview.

I don't know what the equivalent is for NY, but I have an atlas of all the roads in Michigan, showing if they're paved or not. Traffic density isn't usually an issue.

edit - afterthought, this is part of the free membership with Strava (you don't need to have the Premium membership)
