online source for buying used cycling shoes
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows any good sources for purchasing used sidi shoes for spinning class? I am a full-time student but the spinning studio i go to requires cycling shoes so I am in search for a pair of used ones because I don't have the money to buy a brand new pair Looked through the for sale section, but couldn't find any in my size. So any advice would be greatly appreciate! thank you

If budget is an issue, why are you looking at SIDI shoes? There are plenty of other brands out there, and many are much cheaper. I assume that you need SPD compatible shoes (that is what comes on most Spinning bikes). Look at Performance Bike's website, or their sister company, Bike Nashbar, and you should find something suitable.

Cycling shoes are a tough thing to buy without trying on first. Different manufacturers have wildly different sizing conventions.
Is there a bicycle coop nearby that maybe sells used clothing/shoes? How about others at the studio.. maybe put up a Wanted to Buy ad in the locker room?
I probably have 5 pairs of old SPD shoes laying around, some that fit and I use and some that don't. I need to find that local coop or Goodwill store to donate them.

I got my shoes cheaper since they were on special discount at perfromancebike.com. Check the specials on all of the major websites like them (nashbar.com, competitivecyclist.com, jensonusa.com, bikewagon.com) or UK websites (wiggle.com, ribble.com, probikekit.com, etc). Performance's shoe and pedal outlet section has some intersting stuff:
