Its so much more comfortable riding in cycling clothing. I have to admit, I also love wearing my team kit.

Most of those are ones from rides I've personally done or sometimes certain advertisement products (I love my Redhook beer jersey) and others just have interesting artistic or humourous images.

I really want a jersey with this on the front

And this on back.

Cycling shorts, yes but I don't wear cycling jerseys, but rather compression tee's
short or long sleeved depending on weather.
But...I just might wear a Fry and Bender type jersey, and Zapp too!

I'm new to mountain biking so I've tried to minimize my expense this year since my main budget has been blown on he actual bike. I'll probably invest in cycling specific clothing next year when my budget is fresh.
What's compression shorts?

Knickerbockers!

I used to play baseball a lot and being too miserly to buy bike gear I kinda migrated my old uniforms into biking wear....believe it or not the knee high wool pants (as opposed to those silly pajamas worn in MLB today) work great for fall and spring (keeps the knees warm in the early morning) and once i yanked the cleats off my shoes (and rubbed off the evil empire Nike swoosh) they look rather like old school cycling shoes, with a purty stiff sole to boot.

I will add that I was of the cut-offs and cotton t-shirt persuasion for many many years and finally broke down and got some hi-tech wicking thingys and man are they better, especially in really hot weather or when layering in winter. Highly recommended investment, for any other frugal bikers out there......

I voted yes since I do wear em 90% of the time. I used to commute in pants and a cotton t. However when my whole wardrobe was full of pants with grease stains on the right leg, my wife made me switch to something else. Now I just wear full kit all the time.

No.

I think cyclists are gouged more than ppl in the make-up industry. Cycling clothing (in Oz) is fantastically expensive, compared to regular clothing at least. So I found shirts made from the same cloth as those fancy cycling jerseys at a fraction of the cost - microfibre micromesh work shirts in fluorescent yellow. Wicks and evaporates sweat with the best of 'em and very comfy and very visible. I have begun to notice other cyclists have discovered this secret as well.

On my commute I wear normal undies and swimming trunks - made from a thin light-weight synthetic fabric that loses moisture at an awesome rate and dries instantly. On long rides I put on a pair of knicks under those shorts.

Are you talking about physical or mental comfort?
Mental, of course: I could not live with the thought of having something as ********-looking as that
or many other "logo" jerseys out there anywhere near my body.

Though I'm starting to have second thoughts about the Futurama one

I usually ride in whatever is handy, cycling specific or not. For fun, I bolted SPD cleats to an old pair of running shoes. I recessed the cleats and everything. A mechanic at a shop was attempting to make fun of me once. He asked, " Are those New Balance shoes SPD compatible?" The guys stopped laughing when i showed them that the shoes were in fact SPD compatible.

I have way too much spare time.

Always wear it on the bike.
I've started to wear certain jerseys off the bike as well. And my Lake sandals. I draw the line at wearing my cycling shorts off the bike, though.

I wouldn't be caught dead in lycra and I've been known to point and laugh at people who wear it.

Well, never say never. I never thought I'd wear lycra on a bke, but yesterday I found this nylon/lycra skirt at Goodwill. It lands just a couple of inches above my ankle, it's black with a tasteful floral pattern, and it has a slit between my legs that goes up to my knees - perfect for riding! I'm tall, so it's challenging to find long skirts that aren't frumpy, but the fact that it is also perfect for bike riding just made my day. Didn't hurt that it was $3, either.

I'm more cycling specific in the winter than summer. I have a set of long spandex leggings, but they aren't cycling specific. I also use them under my running shorts. I have these lycra/canvas mix hiking pants from Columbia sportswear that are really great. They've got like 4 pockets, all in slimming black (not that I need it, I'm pretty scrawny). During the summer I usually wear cargo shorts and t-shirts. Not necessarily cotton though, often made from synthetics. Mainly I just like athletic/outdoors gear that can be used for numerous activities. It would get expensive if I had all hiking specific/running specific/biking specific, etc.

Oh, but how could I forget my padded biking underwear? The comfort of bike shorts, I can wear them all day and nobody knows

For my commute though it really doesn't matter. 2.5 miles one way.

Not for every ride.

Usually, anything under 8-10 miles, even if its 8 miles, then another 8 later on, I'll just wear something comfortable cause I'll probably be walking around. I might wear some bike shorts underneath if I'll be out all day.

10-15+, I'll dawn the complete outfit.
