We all thought you were the moderator; we wanted to ask you to confirm, but didn't know how to contact you.

(I think you can send the mods a note via "https://www.bikeforums.net/sendmessage.php")

Sorry, but it is in my contract that I am not allowed to be helpful.

I assumed that it was some specific people that we could talk to and I was trying to find where was the list of their names. I assumed this since ladies ask an specific moderator here for joining the women's only forum. Thank you guys. That was helpful. I also saw a forum now in here for suggestion and user assistance. That should do it. Thanks.

No worries, I already have access to that forum since yesterday. I think that if you have 50 posts or more you also qualify.
Thanks

Moderators have a blue star next to their user name.
Administrators have 3 blue stars next to their user name.
To contact a mod or admin just click on their user name and select "Send a private message to *****".

Good general info to have, I don't know that I have seen it listed anywhere. Always wondered, as some have moderator listed under their name, and some have that text blurb changed.

I actually thought the moderators were all located in the large ivory tower that the Bike Forums empire is headquartered in..

Link to that list (though it is dire need of updating). Note that under 'Administrators', if the name starts with "IB" or "ib", that would be the tech team from our corporate parent at Internet Brands- please don't contact them directly.

If you're wanting to contact a member of the Staff due to a problematic post or user, it is easier to report it than send a PM. A PM may not be addressed in timely manner (due to a number of factors), but a Report goes into a queue that all of the Mods and Admins can see.

If you have a question about how the site is run or having a technical issue of some kind, it is generally better to start a thread down in User Assistance. This is beneficial to you in a couple of ways. One, several of the Staff make a point to scan that on a somewhat routine basis (at least I do). Secondly, some times non-Staff members of the Community can provide the answer(s) you seek .

Yes, sometimes we forget to give out infractions. Thanks for the reminder.

Many folks grumble about the moderators, and I am a little guilty as well. But at the same time they seem to have some disgression with the rules. With your overall attitude of openness, sharing, and constructive commentary, I'm not surprised if such has been done.

It's awesome, the power they keep under control !

Thank you. We do tend to go over their posts before we allow them in, which is why we would like a 50+ post count, it lets us know more about the member.
