I'm glad I'm not on your train. I've never seen the line I take that full.

I've resigned myself to never being able to use my bike as an integral part of my commute.
The Metra I used to take to the south suburbs (Metra electric to University Park) was usually packed to the rafters from about 3:30pm until about 6:30- 7:00PM). Rush hour was a nightmare, and a lot of times, it was SRO to at least the Sibley Blvd stop. It was terrible. I was so thankful that I moved downtown that I went to CHURCH.
BN line out to Rt. 59 was the same way between 7-8:30 am and 4-6:30 pm. They had something like 14-15 cars, as many as they could fit at the longest station, and every seat was taken, with vestibules and aisles filled with standees in the first five cars or so.
