I'm glad I'm not on your train. I've never seen the line I take that full.

It's probably a moot point anyway. I'm fairly certain Metra will do no more for cyclist than this new policy. Just look how long it took them to make this change.

I've resigned myself to never being able to use my bike as an integral part of my commute.

The Metra I used to take to the south suburbs (Metra electric to University Park) was usually packed to the rafters from about 3:30pm until about 6:30- 7:00PM). Rush hour was a nightmare, and a lot of times, it was SRO to at least the Sibley Blvd stop. It was terrible. I was so thankful that I moved downtown that I went to CHURCH.

BN line out to Rt. 59 was the same way between 7-8:30 am and 4-6:30 pm. They had something like 14-15 cars, as many as they could fit at the longest station, and every seat was taken, with vestibules and aisles filled with standees in the first five cars or so.
